Paloma Valley Closes in On Unbeaten League Season

The Paloma High School girls soccer team is closing in on an unbeaten Sunbelt League season.

The Wildcats tied Lakeside 1-1 Monday afternoon, improving their league record to 7-0-3. That followed an impressive 8-1 victory over Heritage last Friday. The team's final regular-season is at Temescal Canyon on Wednesday before heading into the CIF playoffs.

In the win over Heritage, Chloe Atkins scored three goals, while Melody Gonzalez and Amanda Gomez had two each. Miriam Mota also scored for the Wildcats.
